Folk Art Market

Just round the corner from the National Museum you'll find this treasure trove of all things folkish (Neil Diamond et al excepted we hasten to add...). Potter about the stalls and you're sure to discover numerous goodies. Our favourites are the embroidered shirts for some Cossack adventures. It's worth having a bit of a haggle as the first asking price may be a mischievous roll of the dice from the point of view of the seller. Don't miss it.

Very inspiring and charming place to visit! But for those who would like to have sophisticated and modern shopping I would recommend a big shopping moll very close to the folk art market - Magnus.
Variety of products, highly professional staff...to be honest I was thrilled by what I've seen. On top of that you can have a nice relaxed "etentje" on the last floor together with the wonderful view on the old town. Highly, highly recommended!

A lovely market with lots of colourful folk jackets and clothes. Painted Easter eggs were fantastic. Would definitely recommend coming here!
