Leopolis Wins In World Travel Awards
Leopolis Hotel has been named Best Hotel in Ukraine at the annual World Travel Awards. The Lviv hotel beat off stiff competition, not least in Kiev, Ukraine's booming capital.
The five-star enterprise is located at the heart of Lviv's Old Town, a short stroll from the Main Market Square, the Roman Catholic Cathedral and the Opera House.
Delighted director Udo Heine says he hopes to expand and improve upon the hotel in time for the Euro 2012 championships, for which Lviv is one of the host cities. His plans include a spa, new restaurants and more luxury guestrooms for guests.
The World Travel Awards were held in Turkey this year. Voting is conducted by 183,000 travel experts across the globe.
