Lviv Stadium Lined Up For Euro 2012

After the elation of winning the host's baton for the European Cup, Ukraine and Poland now face the reality of getting their houses in order for 2012.

Here in Lviv, one of Ukraine's host cities alongside Kiev, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk, plans for a revamped stadium have now been unveiled.

German construction company Hochtif has presented a 32,000 capacity arena for approval. It will cost an estimated 70.4 million Euros, and should be complete by 2010.

Just by the stadium, a 17 hectare plot has also been ear-marked for a complimentary development that will house hotels and an exhibition centre.
