The owner of one of Europe's most lucrative Christmas bauble factories was gunned down on Tuesday in Lviv.
Bohdan Datsko, head of Halimpeks co., was being driven across town when a group of unidentified assailants opened fire. There was no time for an ambulance to provide assistance.
Tuesday's murder was the second shady incident to have occurred in Lviv this Autumn. In late October, a bomb killed a student in what was believed to be a failed attempt on the life of Roman Fedishyn, an influential local businessman.
