Hostels in Lviv

Lviv may not be chockablock with hostels, but in our books that's all the more reason to go. The best part of backpacking is when you stumble across some unexpected treasure, and the thing about Lviv is that the entire city is an unexpected treasure.

Lviv has several trump cards for the backpacker. First up, cheap accommodation. Second, cheap food and drink. Third, atmosphere by the bucket-load. Cross Cracow with Vienna and you're along the right lines, but without the tourists.
