Svit Kavy (The World of Coffee) is just that - a veritable compendium of the world's coffees all under one roof. It's one of your more upmarket Old Town options, with a delightful location at the foot of the Latin Cathedral. Inside, a less is more approach in the decor actually works well for once. Elegant polished wood furnishings and of course consistently good coffees make this a popular pit-stop for affluent locals and curious travellers.

Always busy, but always good.

The coffee menu is impressive. The cakes are tasty. The location is central and the people-watching factor high. What more could one want?
Maybe table service - but otoh at least in summer they have managed to cram in so many seats that it might not be practical - as it is the the non-waitresses does a very good job of keeping the place clean and neat, and are attentive about ash-trays and helping to carry big orders too.
