The Viennese Cafe

One of the best places in Lviv.People, food and atmosphere is perfect.

Dzyga Bar

Fantastic place - the best we found in Lviv. Food is actually quite expensive, but we found that pretty much everywhere. Beer is still cheap. Its a struggle sometimes to find a free table outside in the courtyard. There are a few good restaurants nearby as well.

The Viennese Cafe

Dear Vienna Cafe ! I was born in Lviv. I never was in this cafe, i dont know why , I am living in Austria. >Your Cafe is really good. =) You can be proud, and it looks wonderful inside. Just like Vienna. Your food and your drinks are great ! Best wishes Natascha

Dzyga Bar

Very nice bar/restaurant/cafÈ with those small personal touches that makes it memorable. Fun menu, good plain food (the little we ate; the mushroom filled crepes were good enough that on a longer stay we would surely have come back for dinner given the time). And fresh (unfiltrated - no, not "Bile" or Weissen, more like a slightly yeasty ale) beer! If they only included the wifi free of charge I might well park myself here for a sizeable portion of my next visit to Lviv... (guess that's why they don't)

The coffee menu is impressive. The cakes are tasty. The location is central and the people-watching factor high. What more could one want? Maybe table service - but otoh at least in summer they have managed to cram in so many seats that it might not be practical - as it is the the non-waitresses does a very good job of keeping the place clean and neat, and are attentive about ash-trays and helping to carry big orders too.

Veronika

The cakes, oh the cakes. But the pralines and chocolate truffles are really the thing that makes Veronika outstanding. The restaurant in the cellar is pretty good too. Good food, and especially interesting for the Western tourist is the huge variety of Ukrainian, Moldovan, Armenian and Georgian wines served by glass. Oh, and you can of course get any cake or truffle from upstairs as a dessert down in the restaurant...

Dzyga Bar

The weather wasn't good enough for us to sit outside, but there was a very atmospheric bar inside. Nostalgic place with art exhibitions in the hall. Great place.

Dzyga Bar

The Dzyga Bar was a real find in Lviv! What a great city in general. Seems very far removed from the rest of the Europe but i don't suppose it will stay that way for long. Head out there now if you get the chacne!

The Viennese Cafe

The Viennese Cafe was the perfect place to get dessert after an evening at the opera house. The cafe has a lovely, inviting atmosphere. My favorite item on the menu was the Baked Apple with Spicery.
